Check out the next verse, verse 7, what do we receive in return for giving our anxious thoughts to God?

How powerful is this peace?

God gives us a peace so powerful we cannot even comprehend it! God says that if we thankfully pray about everything and give everything over to God, He will give us a peace that guards our hearts and minds. I need this, don’t you?

Every time you feel overwhelmed, remember that there is a God who loves you, who wants to hear from you, who wants to protect your heart and mind from anxiety.  Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts and present your requests to God today. He’s ready for you with a bucket of peace to pour over you!
