Our story

Minted truth was birthed from one question:

what would it look like for teen girls to pick up their Bibles daily?

We envisioned a community of young believers, who allowed the Gospel they read about to become the hope they rejoiced in, reach their area of influence to proclaim Jesus’s resurrection and redemption.

We saw disciples making disciples.

At Minted Truth, our mission is for teen girls who claim to know the Lord to cling to His Word. We believe the Bible is living and active and therefore meant to actively be lived out. Our hope is to equip teen girls with daily doses of truth, so they may experience transformation and the joy of discipleship--teaching others about the Gospel.

why minted?

From the subtle shade of blueish green to a sweet candy after a spicy meal, there are a lot of terms associated with mint. Here's the heart and thought behind choosing Minted Truth as a name, symbol, and hope for this online resource:

The old HAs gone, The new has come

Something kept in mint condition is stored with the intent of protecting it's original state. As believers, we are spiritually restored to mint condition through Christ's death and resurrection!

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve disrupted their perfect relationship with the Lord by choosing to sin. Thousands of years later, Jesus our Savior entered history to pay the price of our sins. As a result, our relationship was offered restoration if we believe in Him.

We want our name to testify of the forgiveness offered to us through the Cross. Because we are found new again, sin is no longer our master!

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

2 Corinthians 5:17

the holy spirit dwells within us

Every coin in the United States is stamped with a mintmark-- a symbol of where they are produced. Similarly, we are marked by the Holy Spirit once we first believe in Christ!

The Holy Spirit's purpose serves as both a comforter to believers and a guarantee of our future hope of Christ's return and eternity. The power of the Holy Spirit is seen reigning in our lives when we demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit in our daily actions.

Ultimately, the comfort and peace of the Holy Spirit spurs believers on to deliver Christ's hope to the broken world in which we live.

"When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory."

Ephesians 1:13-14

god's word impressed on our hearts

We are both restored to right relationship with the Lord and given the Holy Spirit as a seal of the hope we hold to be true. These are two truths we want you to daily claim!

In addition to being minted, we want you to know God's character in every increasing measure. Our hope is God's Word will become impressed on your heart in such a way you can't help but love and impact the community around you!

It is our prayer for this resource to remind you of the hope of the Gospel, presence of Christ, and truth of your identity in order to to love others.

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better!

Ephesians 1:17
